On September 12, 2016, GR Crane was a proud sponsor of the 3rd annual Operation Golf with Heroes event at Railside Golf Club in Byron Center, Michigan. The crane hoisted a 40-foot American Flag to salute during our National Anthem. GR Crane is a proud sponsor of this annual event as a small way to show its appreciation for the bravery and sacrifice of the United States Military servicemen and women.
GR Crane had the pleasure of aiding an Art Prize artist, sculptor, Paula Blincoe Collins, in placing her piece outside of Van Andel arena. Ms. Collins spent 3 years hand sculpting her Art Prize entry, “Mom’s Favorite Car.” The piece is a 1940 Pontiac made completed out of green brick weighing in at 32,000 pounds! Grand Rapids Crane was thrilled to help her get it in place for Grand Rapids famous Art Prize season. Thank you Paula and congratulations!
